Frequently asked questions
What does the free trial include?
A new site gets every feature of the Plikli plan for 14 days. No card is needed to create the site, and we remind you 3 days before the trial ends.
What happens when the trial ends?
If you don’t choose a plan, the site stays online but read-only (no editing). After 14 days it is suspended and readers see a notice. Data is not deleted automatically.
Is pricing per site?
Yes. Each site is billed monthly on its own. There is only one plan, so every site gets every feature.
Do prices include tax?
Prices in Japanese yen include Japanese consumption tax. Prices in US dollars are before tax; applicable taxes for your location may be added at checkout.
Is there yearly billing?
No. Billing is monthly only, and you can cancel any time.
How do I pay?
Payment goes through Stripe. Change your card, see invoices and receipts, or cancel in Stripe’s customer portal.
What happens if I cancel?
Once the cancellation takes effect, the site stays online but read-only, and is suspended after 14 days. Data is not deleted automatically, and choosing a plan again lets you edit again. If you close the account itself, its data is deleted after 30 days (you can reopen it until then).
Can I migrate from WordPress myself?
Yes. Use “Import from WordPress” in the admin with an application password or the export file. A preview that writes nothing comes first, and you can undo the import afterwards.
Will my URLs change?
If your permalink structure matches one Plikli supports (post name, date-based, /blog/, /archives/, /news/ and similar), URLs stay the same. Any URL that changes gets a 301 redirect.
Do I need Shopify?
No. Shopify is optional; Plikli works for blogs and media on their own.
