Privacy policy

This policy explains how personal information is handled on Plikli: this website, its invite-request form and the Plikli service.

What we collect

  • Invite requests: your name, email address, current site’s address (optional), number of sites, your note (optional) and the language of the page you used
  • Accounts and sites: your name, email address, workspace name, and the site content you create or upload
  • Payments (once billing is live): card details are handled by Stripe; Plikli does not store card numbers

Your IP address is not stored with an invite request. To limit repeated submissions, the sending IP address is used briefly in the server’s memory.

Why we use it, and the legal basis

  • Performing our contract with you: providing the service, sending invitations, support
  • Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention and improving the service
  • Consent, where required (for example optional cookies or marketing)
  • Complying with legal obligations

Where it is stored and who processes it

  • Plikli’s servers are in the United States. Data may be processed in the US and by our service providers (for example Cloudflare and Stripe) in other countries.
  • When an invite request arrives, Plikli’s administrators are notified by email with its contents. Email is sent through Resend.

How long we keep it

Personal data and site content are kept while your account is active. After you close your account and have had the chance to export your data, they are deleted within 30 days. Backups are overwritten on their normal schedule.

What this site loads from elsewhere

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts (Google) and, on the home page, a 3D script from cdnjs (Cloudflare). When they load, your browser sends each provider the information any web request carries, such as your IP address. This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics.

Your rights
