Man!!!!!

You don't read anything at all!!!!

First, this is the General support forum and your issue is about a module that is distributed with Plikli CMS, then you should post in the Modules forum, not here!!!

I will move it, yet again, as i moved all your issues that you posted in the wrong forum!

Secondly, you say "when I input the RSS link and click import, Nothing works"

1- Have you read the "readme file of the module before you install it or even checked it after?
2- It tells you, step by step how to configure RSS importer for each link feed!
3- Have you at least checked the any of Plikli Twitter, Facebook and YouTube? I posted all the important videos and RSS Importer is one of them!!!

If you configured the feed link, are you working on localhost or live server? If on localhost, some feed links block access from localhost!

Please reply with details on all the above questions. I don't want to keep wasting my time on your issues that you never elaborate on nor you answer the questions to be able to help you!. This time is your last strike!

I wish you once be more specific and clearer in your questions!

I am going on a limb here and guess that you mean you have modified the value in the Dashboard -> Settings -> Submit -> Maximum Story Length

and on the Home, New and the other pages that display stories you still view a summary of the story?

If this is your blurry question, then the reason is the FULL CONTENT of the story is only supposed to be viewed on the story page. The summary pages will only display a summary of the stories and the length is taken from Dashboard -> Settings -> Submit -> Maximum Summary Length

Also, because you question was not clear at all, I thought about maybe by this "why is it not displaying the full content upon configuration of the maximum story settings." you are referring to the imported story through the feed is not displaying the full content.

If this is the question, then let me explain to you that the RSS feed module imports exactly what is in the feed. The feed is created by other sites and they decide how their articles should be in their feeds.

To get familiar with the RSS importer Module, try to click on "Examine feed" to see what and how the story appears in their feed. What you see, is what you get. The module has no control over what the sites put in their feeds, whether the full story or just a summary!

The module imports what is in the feed, and that's it!!!

Very nice to know support for this module will continue. I think it's a vital part to the core of content sites.
